Sfæ Studio at Wonder Festival 2025

Find Your Place

During Wonder Festival 2025 Sfæ Studio presented a full exhibition of 003 | In Perfect Place alongside the Echo Chamber at Cohousing Ten Broele in Kortrijk, Belgium.

The exhibition was built around the shared theme Find Your Place. Both artworks explore the concept of belonging, each from a distinctly different perspective. One is abstract and static, expressed through colourful geometric art panels designed to live on a wall. The other is dynamic and participatory, a volumetric LED installation that let’s visitors experience groupthink.

Across the two immersive rooms, visitors were invited to slow down, observe, listen, and experience moments of alignment, belonging, and reflection through colour, light, sound, abstraction, and interaction.

Over the course of three weeks, our exhibition welcomed an estimated 15 000 visitors, and recorded more than 2 000 unique sounds.

The exhibition

In Perfect Place

For the first time, the complete In Perfect Place line-up was shown together. Visitors were guided through the narrative of the panels and the cycle of belonging, by the Sfæ Studio artists themselves.

All sizes were presented, from the intimate sculptural objects to larger spatial works, allowing visitors to experience how the concept translates across scale and context.

The Mini edition of Euphoria was also selected for sale in the official Wonder Festival Shop. (Now available through our Inventory.)

Echo Chamber

Alongside the sculptural works, visitors encountered the Echo Chamber, an interactive installation that invites you to Speak Your Truth. A word, a sentence, a sound. The Machine listens to what you say and how you say it. Your voice is analysed and transformed into a luminous presence inside the volumetric LED structure. The conversation continues as the system plays back the most similar sounds spoken by participants before you.

During the festival, more than 2 000 unique voice recordings were collected. Each contribution became a temporary presence inside the volumetric LED structure, turning personal expression into a visual and sonic experience. Because your sound lived inside The Machine, it could return later, resonating again when someone else spoke with a similar tone, rhythm, or emotion.

Guided Experience and Artist Presence

Throughout the festival, the artists were present on site, personally welcoming visitors and offering informal guided tours through their works.

These moments of conversation and explanation became an essential layer of the exhibition, allowing visitors to understand not only what they were seeing, but why it exists and how it came to be.

The setting of the future cohousing project Ten Broele added a human scale to the experience, reinforcing the themes of togetherness, shared space, and attentiveness.
